Press release – Wet winters and worsening pollution: Farmers urged to adapt to the climate crisis

Norfolk Rivers Trust (NRT) and the Environment Agency (EA) have issued a joint press release to highlight the severe impacts of high rainfall on the quality of water reaching our rivers, and what this means for agriculture and land management. This comes at a time when both organisations have been witnessing and attending to an unacceptably high number of diffuse pollution events throughout the region.

If you see a pollution incident, or even a potential risk to the water environment (surface or groundwater), it is essential to report this to the relevant organisation immediately. View our incident reporting guide here.
