A win for wildlife: welcoming our first beaver kit!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest member – a beaver kit named Roo!
This positive development in our beaver reintroduction journey demonstrates the success of returning these incredible creatures to suitable landscapes. We have been able to observe and monitor their unrivalled ability to create and restore wetland habitats, assist with flood management and foster biodiversity.
After being hunted to extinction in the UK over 400 years ago, the birth of this kit marks a significant milestone in this collaborative and carefully planned project, which has only been possible with the support of our dedicated supporters, volunteers and partners.
