Fishing for Youngsters
Tuesday May 10th, 2016
Fishing for Youngsters, Bayfield Lake, Holt.
Fishing for Youngsters launches on Saturday May 14th with the aim of engaging children with fishing and the wider environment. The project has been lucky enough to receive substantial financial support from TESCO UK through their Bags of Help initiative, extensive equipment donations from NextGenerationTackle.com and fish stocks from the Environment Agency.
The project is only open to schools, youth groups and similar organisations and is not currently open to individuals. We have a clear aspiration to develop the project to facilitate individual fishing events for the general public, completely free of charge! If you would like to be kept up to date with such events please sign up to our newsletter by contacting Liam Reynolds.
Fishing for Youngsters is free of charge to all involved and all tutoring is provided by competent volunteers. Sessions run twice a week on both a Wednesday and Saturday afternoon, so please contact Liam if you represent a youth organisation or would like to become a volunteer. All volunteers receive free fishing rights to Bayfield Lake, Holt.
