Exploring the biodiversity of local water habitats with Astley Primary School

We had a fab day last month with Astley Primary, exploring the biodiversity of their local water habitats as part of British Science Week 2020, with funding received from the British Science Association.

A huge thank you to Year 5 Forest School for the wonderful assistance during the pond dipping session, and with the pond restoration itself… it was a blast!

Education forms a really vital element of our work at NRT, in which we aim to inspire, engage and celebrate our natural world with future generations by getting young people outside and experiencing nature-first hand.
