Working together to achieve sustainable management of soil and water in sugar beet production
In September 2020, the Water Sensitive Farming Initiative had an article published in the ‘British Sugar Beet Review’, produced by British Sugar and BBRO.
The article featured best practice advice for sugar beet growers during the growing season and throughout the harvest/post-harvest period, and focused on improving soil health and managing water to improve water quality and reduce run-off risk. A case study was also included.
